  NHS Dental Charges

 

All treatment that is clinically necessary to protect and maintain good oral health is available on the NHS. If you are not exempt from charges, one of the following will apply (You will only be asked to pay one charge for each complete course of treatment).  It is our policy to give patient’s full information about the cost of their dental care and have a signed treatment plan before any treatment is undertaken.

 

BAND 1 COURSE OF TREATMENT £20.60

This covers an examination, diagnosis (e.g. X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems & a simple scale and polish if needed.

 

BAND 2 COURSE OF TREATMENT £56.30

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further,  additional treatment such as extensive periodontal treatment, fillings, root canal treatment & extractions.

 

BAND 3 COURSE OF TREATMENT £244.30

This covers everything listed in Bands 1 & 2  above, plus more extensive procedures such as crowns, dentures or bridges.

 

Payment

Patients can pay by cash, credit/debit card or cheque, in person or over the phone. All payments due must be paid on the first appointment, in accordance with our practice pre-payment policy. (American Express is not accepted)
